Bonapi Opens in Poland – Gliwice Training Centre
Katarzyna
Operations Director
Good news for everyone planning to work at home or abroad and wanting to prepare for it properly. At Bonapi, we have opened our branch in Poland. From now on, you can gain the qualifications and certificates needed to work in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany or Poland itself closer to home, at our modern training centre in Gliwice. And where a given certificate requires it, our branch in the Netherlands still has your back.
From scaffolder's assistant to our own training centre
Not every company begins with an elaborate business plan. Bonapi began with a person who walked the very path he now helps others complete. The company's founder, Piotr Łoziński, started his career as a scaffolder's assistant in the Netherlands. He worked with his hands, learned the language and saw first-hand that good preparation determines not only how much you earn, but also your safety, self-confidence and opportunities for further growth.
Over time he noticed that many people want to raise their qualifications but keep running into the same barriers: language, access to knowledge, the organisation of training. Out of those experiences, the Bonapi Training Centre was founded in 2018. At first it operated solely on the Dutch market, but over the following years thousands of trainees from across Europe passed through it, gaining the qualifications needed in the Netherlands, Belgium and other countries.
Today that story comes full circle. On 27 July 2026, Bonapi opened a training centre in Gliwice – a place where the experience gathered over years in the Netherlands meets the needs of Polish workers.
Two branches, one standard: Gliwice and Spijkenisse
Bonapi built its standards in the Netherlands and is now bringing them to the Polish market. As a result, you can complete most courses locally in Poland, without having to travel. You only go abroad when your chosen certification exam requires it – and even then, you are not on your own.
Poland – Gliwice
ul. Św. Urbana 16, 44-102 Gliwice. Health-and-safety training and vocational courses – including qualifications planned for the future, such as UDT and SEP – for people working in Poland and those preparing to go abroad.
The Netherlands – Spijkenisse
Wattweg 39-43, 3208 KH Spijkenisse. A training and examination centre for the Dutch market – this is where the VCA, SOG and DNV exams, among others, take place.
Instructors and administrative teams from both countries share knowledge and develop joint programmes, so you receive the same level of support no matter where you begin. You will find the full offer for the Dutch market and other countries on our Dutch website: bonapi.nl.

What does this mean for you?
For many people, preparing for work abroad only begins after they arrive – searching for a course, learning the local rules and gathering documents. Bonapi reverses that order. You can gain some of the necessary qualifications while still in Poland, before you start work with a foreign employer.
That means a calmer, better-planned start:
- Less improvising – instead of catching up on formalities after arrival, you gain the skills you need in advance and get to know what the role expects.
- Lower costs – you cut down the trips, travel and accommodation tied to the training itself.
- A better chance of a quick start – your employer can be sure you are prepared, and you begin work without unnecessary delays.
We run classes in Polish or English, and some theory materials and online courses are also available in other languages – including Ukrainian, Romanian, Russian and Dutch. In technical training this matters especially, because a language barrier should never get in the way of understanding the rules on which your safety and your co-workers' safety depend.
What courses and training can you take at Bonapi Gliwice?
Our training offer is developing in two directions: courses that prepare you for work abroad, and courses and qualifications needed on the Polish labour market. Among the available and upcoming courses you will find, among others:
- VCA – a workplace safety certificate recognised in the Netherlands, Belgium and many other countries.
- Scaffolder (DNV / SVWOH certificate) – training for future and experienced scaffolders.
- Forklifts – courses for counterbalance and reach trucks and electric pallet trucks (EPT), in 1- and 2-day and online formats.
- Aerial and scissor lifts – operator courses for scissor and telescopic platforms.
- SOG Heftruck – training for the counterbalance forklift in the SOG system.
And this is not the end of our development. In the next stages we plan, among other things, UDT training for overhead cranes, jib cranes and hoists, an expansion of our welding courses, training for industrial insulation fitters, and GWO courses that prepare you for building and servicing wind turbines.
Online courses, hybrid courses and free practice tests
It is not always possible to be in the training room right away – so you can prepare the theory part online, at your own pace. In our online course offer you will find both fully online courses and hybrid options, where you do the theory remotely and come to us for the practical classes and the exam. It is a convenient solution especially when you work and want to study in the evenings or at the weekend, and when you are getting ready for a move before starting work abroad.
Before you settle on a specific course, it is worth checking what the exam involves. We provide free practice tests (https://bonapi.pl/en/free-trial-tests/) – for VCA, scaffolders, forklifts, aerial lifts, IPAF and SOG, among others. They let you get to know the type of questions, become familiar with the exam format and check how much you already know before you enrol. It is a good first step if you are only just considering a career change or a move abroad.
Courses in Poland, exam in the Netherlands – how does it work?
Every country has its own regulations, industry standards and certification systems. Foreign qualifications cannot simply be moved to Poland and examined under arbitrary rules – what matters is who may assess the knowledge, where the exam takes place and which institution issues and registers the certificate. That is why Bonapi combines preparation in Poland with the exam wherever a given system requires it:
- Scaffolder – you prepare for the exam in Gliwice, and take the exam itself in the Netherlands before an authorised body. The certificate is issued by the relevant certifying body (including DNV) and registered in the Dutch SSVV register.
- SOG Heftruck – you prepare the theory and practice in Poland, and the final exam takes place at Bonapi's Dutch branch in Spijkenisse.
- SCC 017 and SCC 018 – here the whole process, from preparation to exam, takes place in Poland, in cooperation with a body operating in the system accredited by Germany's DAkkS.
For you, the model stays simple: preparation happens as close as possible to where you live, and a trip abroad is needed only when the rules of the given certification call for it. That means lower travel costs and greater confidence that you are entering the labour market genuinely prepared.
Starting from scratch? That's no obstacle
A lack of experience does not have to close the door to a new profession. At Bonapi we design our training both for people who have worked in the industry for years and for those who only want to earn their first qualifications. You can start from the basics and gradually add further certifications.
An important part of this is help in choosing the right course. Not every certificate is needed for every position – someone planning to work at a petrochemical plant in the Netherlands may need different qualifications than a forklift operator in a Polish warehouse. Our team will advise which qualifications a given industry and country actually require, so you avoid a costly mistake.
If you are travelling from a more distant part of the country, on multi-day courses (for scaffolders, for example) you can make use of on-site accommodation and focus on learning without daily commuting.

A modern training centre in Gliwice
Why Gliwice in particular? The city lies at the heart of the Upper Silesian–Zagłębie Metropolis – one of the largest industrial hubs in Poland, home to around 2.1 million people. The manufacturing, logistics, construction and transport industries are strongly developed here, and the nearby A1 and A4 motorways make it easy to reach from all of southern Poland. It is from here that many fitters, operators and technical workers set off for projects in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Scandinavia.
The centre occupies over 2,000 m² of usable space and combines a room for theory with an extensive practical area. Its heart is a training hall of over 440 m², designed for technical exercises and work with machines. Three fully equipped training rooms are already in operation (with seven planned in total), and the practical area includes five modern machines and new equipment for learning scaffolding assembly.
The site is fenced and monitored, and a large paved yard allows classes to be held outdoors. Inside the building you will also find a rest area where you can grab a coffee and a meal between classes. A shop with health-and-safety equipment is planned as well.
Experience from the Netherlands, support in Poland
Years of work on the Dutch market allowed Bonapi to develop proven standards for organising training and looking after trainees. That is why preparing the Polish centre – which at the first location would have taken about two years – was shortened in Poland to roughly six months: the team already knew how to plan the facilities, equip the rooms and get the procedures in order.
The centres in Gliwice and Spijkenisse work by common rules, and one of Bonapi's goals is to maintain consistent quality standards confirmed by the ISO 9001 certificate. So whether you train in Poland or sit your exam in the Netherlands, you get the same practical approach to learning.
