Training in Poland Training for new scaffolders
Practical training that prepares new workers for the safe assembly and dismantling of scaffolding. The programme is tailored to the employer’s needs and the specifics of the projects being carried out.

The training includes:
- theoretical preparation for work on scaffolding,
- practical assembly exercises,
- learning the safe use of equipment,
- a review of the regulations applicable in the Netherlands,
- a programme tailored to the type of work carried out.
The training programme covers:
- the names of scaffolding components,
- the basics of structure and statics,
- calculating material requirements,
- assembling and dismantling scaffolding,
- the use of personal protective equipment,
- the safe organisation of work,
- the worker’s duties on the construction site,
- the regulations applicable in the Netherlands,
- working with Layher Allround systems,
- working with Cuplock systems,
- working with traditional tube-and-fitting scaffolding,
- practical exercises.
The length of the training is set individually.
A standard programme can last up to 8 days, depending on the participants’ level, the scope of the material and the employer’s requirements.
- at least 18 years of age,
- a valid identity document,
- good physical condition,
- no contraindications to working at height,
- the use of work clothing and personal protective equipment.

The training is preparatory in nature. The way knowledge is checked and any verification of skills is agreed individually with the employer and may include assessment of the practical and theoretical parts.

The training is intended for new workers starting out as scaffolders and for companies that want to prepare their teams to carry out assembly and dismantling work safely. The programme works well both for people without experience and for workers who need to be onboarded to work according to the standards applicable in the Netherlands.
Training goal
The aim of the training is to prepare participants for the safe assembly, use and dismantling of scaffolding, to familiarise them with the applicable regulations and to develop correct working habits on construction sites and industrial facilities.
