Forklift Truck Refresher Course – 1 Day

One-day refresher course for experienced Forklift Truck operators. Review your knowledge, complete the renewal examination and renew your operator qualifications in a single day.

The training includes:

  • review of current safety regulations;
  • refresher theory session;
  • practical driving exercises;
  • preparation for the renewal examination;
  • theoretical examination;
  • practical examination.

The programme includes:

  • workplace health and safety regulations;
  • LMRA (Last Minute Risk Analysis);
  • Forklift Truck types and applications;
  • electric, diesel and LPG-powered Forklift Trucks;
  • operator responsibilities before and after work;
  • safe Forklift Truck operation;
  • safe load handling and pallet transport;
  • manoeuvring in warehouse environments;
  • working with warehouse racking systems;
  • basic servicing and technical inspection procedures.

The course lasts 1 day and includes:

  • theoretical training;
  • theoretical examination;
  • practical training;
  • practical examination.

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Valid passport or national ID card.
  • Previous Forklift Truck operating experience.
  • Full physical and mental fitness.

The Forklift Truck Refresher Course is available in the following languages:

The course concludes with both a theoretical and practical examination.

Participants must successfully complete both parts of the examination to renew their Forklift Truck certification.

Initial requirements:

Participants must: be at least 18 years old; hold a valid passport or national ID card; have previous experience operating a Forklift Truck; be physically and mentally fit to operate industrial equipment safely. A driving licence is not accepted as a valid form of identification.

Who is this training for?

This refresher course is designed for experienced Forklift Truck operators whose qualifications require renewal. It is intended for participants who already have practical operating experience and wish to update their knowledge before completing the renewal examination.

The course aims to refresh the participant’s knowledge of safe Forklift Truck operation, reinforce practical operating skills and prepare experienced operators for the renewal examination.

Forklift operator certifications are valid for 5 years. To keep them valid, you must complete a refresher course and pass a renewal exam before the end of that period.
