The EPT training focuses on the practical aspects of operating an electric pallet truck used for transporting and moving goods.

Participants learn to carry out the operator’s daily duties correctly, the safety rules and ways of efficiently manoeuvring the truck in a confined warehouse space.

The course is delivered over one day and includes:

  • a theory part,
  • practical classes,
  • a theory exam,
  • a practical exam.

  • at least 18 years of age,
  • a valid ID card or passport,
  • comfortable work clothing and protective footwear recommended for the practical part.

A driving licence is not accepted as an identity document.

The training ends with an exam consisting of a theory and a practical part. Obtaining the certificate is conditional on passing both exam stages.

Initial requirements:

The participant must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid identity document, such as an ID card or passport.

The training is intended for people planning to work in warehouses, logistics centres, large-format stores and anywhere electric pallet trucks are used.

Training goal

The aim of the course is to prepare the participant for the safe operation of an electric pallet truck (EPT) and to obtain a certificate after passing the exam.
