The 2-in-1 training makes it possible to gain the knowledge and practical skills related to operating two popular types of warehouse truck during a single training day.

The programme has been designed both for beginners and for participants who want to consolidate their knowledge and increase their professional competences in logistics and warehousing.


Theory part

During the training, the participant learns:

  • the construction and types of forklifts,
  • the rules of safe operator work,
  • the procedures for technical inspection before starting work,
  • the rules for operating the counterbalance forklift,
  • the characteristics and operation of the high-bay reach truck,
  • work organisation and manoeuvring in the warehouse space,
  • the rules for transporting and storing goods,
  • safe work at height using the reach truck,
  • the procedures for loading and unloading goods,
  • the exam requirements and the key exam topics.

Practical part

During the practical classes, the participant learns:

  • how to prepare the truck for work,
  • how to operate the counterbalance forklift safely,
  • how to operate and manoeuvre the reach truck,
  • how to transport and set down loads,
  • how to work at high-bay racking,
  • how to carry out manoeuvres in a confined warehouse space,
  • how to load and unload goods safely,
  • how to organise operator work correctly.

Exam

The training ends with:

  • a theory exam,
  • a practical exam.

The training lasts 1 day and includes:

  • a theory part,
  • practical classes,
  • a final exam.

  • At least 18 years of age
  • A valid ID card or passport
  • Basic physical fitness allowing operation of warehouse equipment
  • Work clothing and protective footwear recommended

The course ends with a theory and a practical exam checking the ability to operate the counterbalance and reach truck safely. After a passing result, the participant receives a certificate of completion of the training.

Initial requirements:

At least 18 years of age and a valid identity document: ID card or passport.

The training is intended for people who want to gain qualifications to operate a counterbalance forklift and a reach truck and prepare for work in warehouses, logistics centres and industrial plants.

Training goal

The aim of the course is to prepare the participant for the safe operation of two types of forklift and to obtain a certificate confirming the practical and theoretical skills gained.
